With that said, when he brought the orphans into the theater, I kind of lost it. Not only was that a brilliant marketing campaign, it was also incredibly sweet and awesome.
And the kids! The Davies boys? Freaking amazing. And of course, two of my favorite actors (Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet). AND two of my favorites from POTC!! Oh man.
So yeah, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
And all of the Scottish accents definitely didn't hurt. Heh.
What's your musical horoscope? (Put your music player on shuffle and write down the first 10 songs that come up.) Inspired by Stephanie.
Time to Dance (Panic! At the Disco). Life Wasted (Pearl Jam). What You Own (Rent). Sitting, Waiting, Wishing (Jack Johnson). It's Not a Side Effect of the Cocaine, I Am Thinking It Must Be Love (Fallout Boy). Going to California (Led Zeppelin). I Wish I Was a Girl (Counting Crows). Fire Fire (M.I.A.). MFC (Pearl Jam). Like a Rolling Stone (Bob Dylan).
Do I have to interpret it too? Cos...no.
Take a photo of a tchotchke or souvenir from your travels.
I sort of really love knicknacks, so I'm kind of surprised that these are the only two on my desk that I've bought for myself while on a trip. Hm. The duck is from a cool glass-blowing place I visited in Switzerland when I was 16, and the turtle is from some random shop in Florida from when I was 14.
What albums are in heavy rotation for you right now?
I'm
still listening to Pearl Jam's latest quite a bit, and humming the Panic! album when I'm at work. And this is kind of embarassing to admit, but okay, I work in a toy store, so we listen to music for kids, and...I kind of love it. The Curious George soundtrack, which is Jack Johnson and therefore acceptable, but also cds by Laurie Berkner, Dane Zane, Ralph's World, and Justin Roberts.
I hate that fucking kid's reggae cd though. SO. DAMN. MUCH.
It's really not a secret that I love Sarah Silverman and think she's fucking hilarious. Or that my friends and I have been sort of obsessed with her ever since we watched Pamela Anderson's Roast every night for like, a month. Her jokes are great, but her delivery and mannerisms are what make her hilarious. The woman keeps a straight face like you wouldn't believe!
I just really wish I had watched this with my friends while drinking, but alone and sober, it was still pretty damn good.
(Except my favorite comedian at Open Mic Night at the Stress Factory totally ripped off one of her bits, which makes me sad.)
Also, "I Love You More" is ridiculously catchy and so wrong that it's right. Heeheehee.
